A Course by Miku Lane · Connection Quest

You've done the work.
Now become the work.

The Anchored is a 5-module self-guided course for people who are tired of understanding their attachment wounds — and ready to actually stop letting them run their love life.

I'm ready — early access Self-paced · Lifetime access · No therapy jargon, ever

You know your attachment style. Maybe you've known for years. You've read the books, listened to the episodes, taken every quiz. You can explain the anxious-avoidant trap in your sleep.

And yet.

The same fight keeps happening. The same silence. The same slow drift apart. The same moment where you know exactly what you're doing — and you do it anyway. Because knowing isn't the same as changing.

None of that means you're too damaged to love well. It means no one ever gave you a real map — just more information about the territory.

This course is that map.

The Anchored is built for people who are done reading about attachment and ready to actually live differently inside their relationships. Not in a vague, "be more vulnerable" way. In a Wednesday-night-when-things-get-hard kind of way.

Five modules. Real language. Actual tools you use in your real life — not worksheets that live in a folder you never open. Every module ends with something you can do this week, inside the relationship you're actually in.

No clinical distance. No jargon. Just someone who has been in the weeds of this — and has something honest to say about what actually works.

A Note from Miku Lane

"I didn't build this course because I have it all figured out. I built it because I got tired of seeing people — smart, self-aware, genuinely loving people — stay stuck."

Every episode of Connection Quest exists because I believe that understanding yourself is the beginning, not the destination. The psychology is real. The patterns are real. But at some point you have to stop studying the map and start walking.

The Anchored is what I wish existed when I started doing this work — something that takes you from "I know why I do this" to "I actually do something different now." It's personal. It's practical. And it's honest in a way that most courses in this space aren't willing to be.

This is not therapy. It is not a substitute for it. This is one person sharing what she's learned — through the research, through the conversations, through the work — so you can stop replaying the same patterns and start building something that actually lasts.

What's Inside

5 Modules. One complete arc.
From knowing to actually living it.

Each module builds on the last. Each one ends with something real you can use.

Module 1 · Know

Your Attachment Blueprint

Why you love the way you love

Not a quiz result. A real reckoning with how you got here — and why it made complete sense at the time. You'll walk out of this module with a written document that maps your patterns, your triggers, and the story underneath them.

  • The four styles in plain human terms — with real relationship examples, not clinical definitions
  • How childhood quietly wired your idea of "normal" in love
  • The small Tuesday-morning moments that reveal your attachment more than any argument does
  • Why secure attachment is a skill — and what it actually looks like in practice
Your deliverable: A written Attachment Blueprint — your personal map of patterns, triggers, and relationship "tells" that you'll reference through the entire course.

Module 2 · Feel

The Nervous System Isn't the Enemy

Why your body hijacks your relationship — and how to take it back

When you freeze, flee, or say something you immediately regret — that's not weakness. That's your nervous system doing what it learned. This module skips the lecture and goes straight to: what does this feel like, and what do you actually do in the moment?

  • How to read your own signals before your mouth opens in a fight
  • The 2-second pause — why it works even when it feels impossible
  • What stonewalling really is and how to stop it before it becomes a wall
  • Building your personal down-regulation toolkit that fits your actual life
Your deliverable: Your Trigger Map — your top 3 relationship triggers, what they feel like in your body, what you usually do, and what you'll practice doing instead.

Module 3 · Connect

The Vulnerability Equation

Stop hiding. Start actually being known.

Vulnerability isn't crying in front of someone. It's saying the real thing when you want to say something safe. This module is about learning to be emotionally honest without it feeling like jumping off a cliff every single time.

  • The difference between emotional openness and emotional dumping
  • Low-stakes vulnerability practices that build the muscle without blowing everything up
  • The four pillars of intimacy — and how to diagnose which one your relationship is missing
  • "Safe language" in conflict — the phrases that keep conversations open instead of shut down
Your deliverable: Your Intimacy Audit across all four pillars, with specific actions for the one that needs the most attention right now.

Module 4 · Repair

Breaking the Loop

The anxious-avoidant trap, trust after betrayal, and the patterns that outlive the relationship

This is the hardest module. The push-pull. The silence that screams. The trust that got cracked somewhere along the way. We deal with all of it — not to fix it in a week, but to actually understand what you're working with so you stop building on a broken foundation.

  • Why anxious and avoidant are magnetically drawn to each other — and what it actually takes to interrupt that cycle
  • Micro-betrayals: the small things that quietly hollow out trust long before the big break
  • What a real apology sounds like vs. what we usually give
  • How to know if the pattern is breakable — or if you're repeating it with the wrong person
Your deliverable: The Loop Breaker worksheet — identifying your specific cycle and three concrete interruptions to practice this week.

Module 5 · Sustain

Earned Security

Building love that doesn't burn out

Secure attachment isn't a destination. It's a daily practice. This module is about what comes after the healing work — how you choose better, how you stay connected when life gets loud, and how you keep intimacy and desire alive without it feeling like homework.

  • How to choose a partner from a healed place — what that actually looks like
  • The difference between feeling safe and feeling bored (one of the biggest misconceptions in long-term love)
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly practices for real connection — not the surface stuff
  • How to recognize when it's actually working — and how to protect what you've built
Your deliverable: Your Secure Relationship Blueprint — what a secure relationship looks like in your life, what you're committed to practicing, and what you now know to protect. This is the capstone.

What Listeners Are Saying

"I've listened to every episode of Connection Quest twice. The Anchored is where all of it finally clicked into something I could actually use. I did the Trigger Map exercise and had a conversation with my partner that night that we'd been avoiding for months."

— Connection Quest listener  ·  Long-term relationship, anxious attachment

"I was skeptical because I've taken courses before and they all felt like reading a self-help book with a progress bar. This one felt like Miku was just talking to me — honest, direct, and actually willing to say the uncomfortable thing."

— Connection Quest listener  ·  Dating, fearful-avoidant attachment

"The Secure Relationship Blueprint I made in Module 5 is on my nightstand. I didn't expect a course to give me something I'd actually hold onto."

— Connection Quest listener  ·  Married 6 years, avoidant attachment

What The Anchored is not

So you know exactly what you're getting into.

Not this

A therapy replacement. If you're in active crisis or navigating serious trauma, please work with a licensed professional — that's not what this is.

This

A practical, emotionally honest self-guided framework for people who are ready to do the work on their own and apply it to their real relationship, right now.

Not this

A textbook or lecture series. No clinical jargon. No homework that requires a psychology degree to understand.

This

A conversation — direct, warm, and honest — that respects your intelligence without talking over your head or talking down to you.

Not this

A magic fix. Patterns you've lived for 10, 20, 30 years don't vanish in five modules. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

This

The beginning of a real shift — with concrete tools, a clear map, and a new baseline you can build on for years. The first step that actually sticks.

Questions

Honest answers.

Do I need to have listened to the podcast first?

No — the course is designed to stand completely on its own. If you have listened, you'll recognize some of the foundations and go a lot deeper. If you haven't, you'll be fully oriented from Module 1. Either way works.

I'm not in a relationship right now. Is this still for me?

Yes. In fact, this might be the best time to do this work — before you bring old patterns into something new. Module 5 specifically deals with choosing a partner from a healed place. Everything else applies whether you're partnered or not.

How long does it take to complete?

Most people move through one module per week, so about 5 weeks total. But you have lifetime access and you can move faster, slower, or revisit modules as often as you need. There's no rush and no expiration date.

My partner and I are both struggling. Should we both take it?

You can — and honestly, two people doing this work independently often have better results than trying to "fix" it together. This course is about your patterns, not couple's work. If you both do it, that's a conversation worth having. If only one of you does, it still moves things.

What if I'm not sure what my attachment style is?

Module 1 sorts that out. The goal isn't just a label — it's to see the actual pattern playing out in your specific life. The quiz is in there, but so is a more honest way of recognizing yourself in it.

Is this therapy?

No. This is a self-guided educational course built from research, lived experience, and two seasons of real conversations about how people actually love and hurt and heal. It is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you're in crisis or carrying serious trauma, please work with a licensed professional first.

You already know
you deserve more than this.

The loop you're in isn't who you are. It's what you learned. And what was learned can be unlearned — not overnight, not painlessly, but for real. That's what this course is about.

Come do the work.
